Product Description:
Huida’s high-purified paraffin wax is specially formulated for histology and pathology applications, combining fully refined paraffin with plastic polymers for optimal embedding and infiltration. It ensures excellent tissue penetration, and specimens embedded in this wax can be easily sectioned with consistent ribbon continuity, preventing cracking or tearing during flotation.
Features:
Without addition of DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide), odorless, clear and transparent.
Enables precise histological sectioning down to 2µm thickness.
Reduces wrinkles and compression during cell and tissue slicing.
Melting point of 56-58°C, 58-60°C, 60-62°C, 52-54°C, 54-56°C
Precautions:
1.Store the parrafin wax below 38°C and avoid sunlight.
2.Paraffin caking occurs when stored at high temperature,which does not affectthe use.
3.Recommend using same paraffin wax for infiltration and embedding.
